Ashma participated in Kukdukoo Fest Pune as the official Knowledge Partner with a clear mission: to make Indian culture, values, and Vedic heritage accessible, enjoyable, and relevant to today’s children. Over two days, we engaged thousands of children, parents, and educators through cultural experiences designed to spark curiosity, strengthen identity, and build pride in India’s timeless knowledge systems.

While the event itself celebrated creativity and expression, Ashma’s contribution ensured that learning went deeper — connecting stories, traditions, language, and moral values with modern formats children could relate to.

What We Did at Kukdukoo Fest Pune

1. Storytelling Sessions

We conducted interactive storytelling that brought Indian epics, folktales, and moral stories to life through:

  • Panchatantra tales

  • Stories from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Puranas

  • Regional folk stories and cultural narratives

The stories were narrated in a manner that encouraged participation and reflection, allowing children to connect culturally while having fun.

2. Cultural Learning Corners

Our learning space allowed children to explore:

  • Festival meanings and traditions

  • Indian symbols & cultural practices

  • Sanskrit words and everyday shlokas

  • Values such as gratitude, respect, dharma, kindness and loyalty

All content was presented through visual displays, activity cards, illustrations, and guided sessions — turning learning into a discovery experience.

3. Workshops on Indian Heritage

Children participated in activity-based workshops centered around:

  • Vedic chants & pronunciation

  • Indian art patterns & traditional designs

  • Cultural interpretation through games

  • Mindfulness and reflective practices rooted in Indian ethos

These workshops helped children connect not just intellectually but emotionally with their heritage.

4. Interactive Knowledge Games

We designed games and activities that made learning about Indian culture exciting:

  • Rapid-fire question rounds

  • Culture quiz cards

  • Moral dilemma games

  • “Guess the story” and “Match the symbolism” tasks

The goal was to make children think, question, and connect with Indian values effortlessly.

Why This Matters to Us

Indian culture is one of the richest in the world, yet children today are growing up disconnected from it. Through initiatives like this, Ashma is working to ensure that Indian values are not taught as history, but lived as identity.

Our goal is:

  • To make culture accessible to young minds

  • To preserve Indian knowledge systems in modern formats

  • To build cultural confidence and rootedness early in life

  • To support parents and educators in imparting values effortlessly

Kukdukoo Fest Pune gave us the platform to demonstrate how cultural learning can be joyful, artistic, and deeply enriching.
